Ashley Shrader
Dr. Ashley Shrader, DNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner. Prior to functional medicine, Ashley worked in various conventional healthcare settings, which revealed the algorithmic and impersonal nature of the traditional healthcare model that leaves many patients overlooked and disempowered. Dissatisfied and in the midst of her own health crisis, she began researching other approaches and discovered functional medicine. She pursued certification with the IFM and eventually established her own practice, Rise Functional Medicine. Ashley has a passion for gut and hormone health, especially as they relate to brain and mental health, and specializes in implementing this approach in athletes and active individuals. As a Yoga Teacher, Ashley believes that mental, emotional, and spiritual health are the foundation for the path to healing. Her career in healthcare reflects her own personal health and wellness journey which includes getting diagnosed with autoimmune disease and learning she has a genetic predisposition to developing ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
Eyliana Gibson
Eyliana's journey towards Apothocurly began on the frontage road. After years of being immersed in the fashion and beauty industry as an artist and editorial stylists, she veered in a new direction towards self-discovery and healing to reclaim her spirituality and self, which had been left behind.
As she approached life at a slower and more purposeful speed, Eyliana found solace in holistic practices that brought healing from within and a higher level of awareness to her life's purpose. She realized that while her passion as a creator was very close to her heart, she wanted to whittle down what she appreciated most, and separate herself from the parts that no longer served her. The gift of healing through hairdressing and its profound effects became her inspiration, along with guiding people to see their own beauty.
